The Seventh Season (2004)

Turn your favorite digital photo of your gardens into a beautiful canvas work of art!

Late spring and the garden is predominately yellows and blues.  Starting from the left the edging plants are Geranium 'Nimbus'lady's mantle, Salvia 'May Night' and Nepeta mussini (catmint).

Looking in the other direction towards the shrub rose garden behind the arbor covered with 'William Baffin' hot pink roses.

Looking through the arbor there is a pathway edged by sweet William, sedum and alpine strawberries.  It is hard to see the shrub roses blooming, but there are several varieties including 'Jens Munk,' Delicata,' 'Therese Bugnet,' and many others.

July and the Coreopsis 'Zagreb' is blooming behind the Salvia 'May Night.'  The 'William Baffin' rose is still going strong on the arbor, which definitely makes a statement next to the deep red Asiatic lilies.

Late July and the garden is a riot of color.  The annual edging plants in the foreground are Salvia 'Marble Arch.' Ageratum 'Leilani,' and forget me nots.  All a beautiful blue and my favorite garden color.

The kitchen garden gives and just keeps giving all summer long.  This was taken in late August and the kale and the second crop of  cut and come again lettuce are doing well on the right and the the sunflowers in the back have reached gargantuan proportions.
