I visit the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum at least twice every year,  and I can honestly say that I find something new every time I go.  But that really isn't too surprising, because the Arboretum features more than 1000 acres of gardens and natural areas.  There are rose gardens, a kitchen garden, a Japanese garden, herb and fragrance gardens, a sensory garden, water gardens, and much more.  Plus, if you are already a member of an arboretum or botanic garden, you may be able to visit the MN Landscape Arboretum for no charge through the AHS Reciprocal Gardens program.  I have a .pdf list of the participating public gardens here. Or become a member of the MN Landscape Arboretum and you will be able to visit many of the other participating reciprocal gardens for free!  For directions and more information on the gardens, please see their website at http://www.arboretum.umn.edu.
