"The Bog Garden at Daybreak"

This is the bog garden photograph that I had made into "Canvas on Demand" wall art.  I couldn't be more pleased.  I love photography and take a lot of photos for magazine and newspaper articles, but I wanted a unique way to display my favorite photos in my home.

I took this photo of the bog garden on a perfect morning when the red astilbe were blooming brightly, the dew was still sparkling on the hosta and the early morning sun was streaming through the trees.  I really felt I had captured a perfect moment in the garden.

It was easy to use the "Canvas on Demand" website to order my canvas art and the finished canvas arrived in only a few days.  The timing was great because it was right before Easter so my whole family was here to visit.

I couldn't help playing a little prank on my brother and pretending that I had painted the bog garden myself.  My brother got right up to it, inspected every inch, and was still completely baffled.  He knew that I couldn't have painted it--but could not for the life of him figure out how it was done.  He was especially impressed at how three-dimensional the bog garden looked--it really does look like a real painting on canvas!

My son just moved into a new home and liked mine so well that he has had three of his own photographs made into "Canvas on Demand" artwork and they are hanging proudly in his home and office.
