The Red Wing in Bloom Foundation

Red Wing in Bloom was formed in October 2007 when the City of Red Wing entered the America in Bloom beautification contest. After Red Wing won their population category and the Environmental Award for all competing cities, the committee decided to form a non-profit Foundation so that they could continue their mission to beatify Red Wing.

Since then, Red Wing in Bloom has been busy working on many beautification projects including supplying the plants and helping to design the Colvill Discovery Garden. Other RWIB projects are the continued planting of over a thousand trees and shrubs along the gateway highways coming into Red Wing, a new Pottery Park, a butterfly garden at Jefferson School and funding for a new "Welcome to Red Wing" sign.

We have many more projects that we would like to accomplish in coming months and years, but we need your help. Your donation of money is always welcome, but we also need volunteers to help plant, water and maintain our new plantings and for other beautification projects. To volunteer, please email RWIBFoundation @ gmail.com. For information on how and where to send money donations to RWIB, see the brochure.

Thank you for your help in continuing our mission to make Red Wing an even more beautiful place to live.
