The Colvill Park Discovery Garden

Apr 10th, 2009 by Administrator | 0

Several Goodhue County Master Gardeners including myself have been working on a new Discovery Garden next to the huge Universal Playground at Colvill Park in Red Wing, Minn. and we think it will be something very special. We have designed the garden to be a place that not only appeals to all the senses, but also stimulates a child’s imagination and enjoyment of nature. Most of all we hope that the garden will be a place that people of all ages will enjoy. You can see our garden design at www.discoverygarden.info and I hope that if you are in the Red Wing area this summer you will stop and visit our new garden and also the Universal Playground which is one of the largest universally-accessible playgrounds in the country.
